The location is absolutely great! It is located half way from Duomo and half way from Porta Ticinese and Navigli. Via Torino is one of the most croweded streets during the whole day since there are many shops. The street is also live after the sunset since it is used by most of tourists who want to get to Navigli and they are coming from Duomo on foot. There are a lot of bars 3 minutes away from the hotel. Also I really enjoyed the hotel personel and the fact that our sheets/towels were changed daily
What I didn't like was that the great breakfast (a great variety and very good quality) was served in a small room in the basement. We really didn't have any problems finding a table but in case the hotel is full, I don't think that everyone would find one. After all, there is a great winter garden in the ground floor that would be great to be used for breakfast also.
The room decor was so overwhleming busy and strange.
The manager of the hotel is a lady that makes sure you feel very welcome, you can see a touch of a female hand all over the place. Very good service, they are polite and indulge your every need. Excellent location, very important if you have a short stay like we did. The rooms are decent, a bit old, but the overall impression is clean. All in all the prices are very decent for a city center(I don't believe there is another one with this kind of service in the center of Milan, considering the price). Excellent breakfast. The parking is a huge plus if you are traveling by car. I will for sure come again.
The only thing that bothered me a bit was that one of the receptionist was rude, but since this is not so uncommon in Italy, just treat him the way he treats you and you'll be fine. All the other people from the staff were super nice.
Very small room. For one night may be enough but with few days' stay must be tiring. Great location, nice breakfast, especially coffee.
First, need to admit qualified and friendly hotel staff. Their kind advices and support have added positiveness to our trip. The hotel itself is well located as for business trip as well for city tour. While walking It takes about 15 min to get Duomo square or 7 min by tram. Common premises and rooms are very clean and lovely decorated. Our room windows did not face the street so noise from outside was not an issue. Breakfast is descent. Overall we liked nice and friendly atmosphere.
What only disturbing was : poor sound proofing, between rooms walls and door (to combine rooms) allow you to listen everything what happens next room (and next bathroom). We were lucky with our neighbors: their timing was similar to ours, so, we did not suffer much, but, generally, this should not be attriibuted to 4* hotel
The hospitality of the staff and natural care and cheerfullness. Location is next to perfect and all the questions re stay (incl resturant recommendation, making calls, arrangemtns, being v concerned about the comfort) were approached highly professionally and in a friendly and "only for you" manner.
The 1 st night (Thur-to Fri) was a disaster as the room was facing a Medici street and the noise from the opposite hotel was terrible till after mindnight and the pure hell and horror of garbage removal started @ 4:30 am till 7 am. We could not sleep and the nerves were just raw. The night consierge knew this routine problem, was v apologetic but could not move us. The hotel should not / never place the guests in this room on this particular night of the week. Or to be totally fair and warn & cut the price. Anyway, in our case we were moved to the perfect room facing the patio with private terrace for the next 2 nights. Hotel really tried to make up and they were v genuine and helpful.
Good service, good breakfast, small and comfortable hotel
Bar and barservice are bad
The staff were very friendly and very helpful. The rooms were very nice and the second room for my return visit at the end of my trip was very nice indeed. I like Milan. I think the people of Milan are very friendly overall. It is an easy city to get around in. My primary reason for staying in Milan was to attend two operas at La Scala. Both were very special performances for me since I like opera very much
The room was good and the hotel facilities.
Great location, 20 minutes walk from train station. Close to many attractions. Staff were friendly and helpful. Very good breakfast with fruit, yogurt, cheeses, meats, toast and pastries. Room was a good size, bed very comfortable. Nice bathroom with toiletries supplied. A good choice for our stay in Milano.
The staff is kind and friendly. A location is very good, quite center of the town. The stop of tram is near. I can arrive immediately to Duomo.
An elevator is slow. We have to wait for a long time.
Nice hotel, good service and near centrum, shopping and resturants
All of the staff were really friendly and helpful, particularly the night reception man. Also the rooms were spacious enough for a city hotel, but they were really clean and the cleaning staff even folded my clothes!
Very well located, near to the Duomo, shopping area and the night animation.
Small rooms even though we booked a large room. Very little natural light. Not 4 star like it says outside the hotel. Struggles to be 3 star.
